Biography:
Dr. Matthew Felber, M.D., is a Laurel native who has been practicing medicine in Pender since 2000. An avid reader who enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends, Dr. Felber is busy seeing patients as a general practitioner. While he is often the first doctor to see patients for any number of reasons, he particularly enjoys helping families on their journey to becoming parents through obstetrics as well as practicing family and geriatric medicine. He is able to perform C-sections and endoscopy.
Dr. Felber is a second generation physician. His father was also a rural family physician in Nebraska and that inspired him to do the same. He enjoys the excellent staff at Pender Community Hospital and Pender Medical Clinic as well as the new state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2012. He cites the emergency rooms, OB suites and patient rooms as among the best features of PCH, all of which directly impact the stay patients and their families have when visiting the hospital.
Dr. Felber and his wife, Connie, have four daughters, Claire, Isabelle, Lydia, and Laurel.
