Biography:
Dr. Matthew Timm, M.D., is not a stranger to northeast Nebraska. The Lyons native who made it a goal of his to practice medicine in a rural area joined the staff at Pender Community Hospital/Clinic in August 2006
He and his wife, Leslie, have four children, Lucas, Lillie, Logan and Laney. "I was raised rural and always wanted to return back to that setting to raise my family and live," he said.
Dr. Timm enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and exercising in his free time. At work, he enjoys all aspects of family medicine. Dr. Timm works extensively with obstetrics, endoscopy and geriatrics. He does a geriatric clinic on a monthly basis at PCH's outpatient clinic. With obstetrics, he is one of three PCH staff doctors who can deliver babies by C-section if necessary.
"I really enjoy the freedom to practice the wide spectrum of services and procedures that family practice doctors in rural communities can perform," he said.
